ITALFARMACO, established in 1938, is a private multinational pharmaceutical and fine chemical company headquartered in Milan, Italy. The company is known for its products in cardiology, immuno-oncology, gynaecology, osteoporosis, and neurology. It has two manufacturing units, one in Milan and another in Madrid, Spain. ITALFARMACO group aims to expand its product portfolio and consolidate its presence in international markets.
Currently, ITALFARMACO is the most important Italian manufacturer of pre-filled syringes, and among the few existing in Europe. Totally devoted to the production of injectable preparations and oral solid products, the manufacturing process meets the highest of international quality standards. The ITALFARMACO plant has been manufacturing pre-filled syringes since 1987 and has acquired remarkable experience and skills thanks to the constant investment in the most sophisticated and updated technologies.
Our Spanish manufacturing facility specialises in the manufacture of millions of small, medium and large volume liquids, sachets, hormonal semi-solids and non-hormonal semi-solids every year – all to the highest of international standards.
The facility manufactures for more than 30 customers, produces more than 70 different products, and exports to Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia.
In addition to the development of new drugs, our researchers are constantly looking for new dosage solutions of already approved drugs. This will allow doctors to consider individual situations and treat patients with established active ingredients. New dosages currently in the pipeline cover the areas of cardiology, muscle and nerve degeneration, inflammation, oncology and adjunctive therapy for oncological patients.
